They have
three children namely, Hennie (30 years),
Hermien (29 years) and Marinda (27 years). In 1978, after their conversions,
Hennie and Rina heard the calling of God for full time service to proclaim
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In 1982 Samaria Mission was founded and Hennie served as Leader of the Mission till 2006 (24 Years). Since 1989 to October 2006, they were members of Christ Baptist Church, Pietersburg(Polokwane) and Hennie served
the church as missions pastor and director of Samaria Mission.
Rina is assisting him full-time with administration and social ministries. God confirmed His calling over 30 years in their ministry as they serving in faith through this exciting church planting ministry.
By the grace of God they were involved in the construction of 105 churches, 90 were build with steel roof and brick or block walls the rest are more village style, poles and gras roof churches.
Conducted hundreds of tent crusades, and more than 2000 short-term missionaries came to assist with projects and outreaches in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Democratic Replublic fo the Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, The Philippines and Siberia Russia.
In 2003 the Samaria Mission Section 21 non-profit company was dissolved and Samaria Mission moved from Potgietersrus to Pietersburg at Christ Baptist Church. Samaria mission a ministry of Christ Baptist Church, offices are now on the church’s premises.The warehouse where they accommodate all the mission’s equipment and vehicles is on Sterkloop Farm also the property of Christ Baptist church.
In October 2006 Hennie accepted a call to join Global Ministries Fellowship as director of world missions, Africa, based in Dalmada Pietersburg (Polokwane) South Africa.

Global Ministries Fellowship(GMF), founded by Richard Hamlet in 2003, began by adopting and supporting ministry initiatives in Brazil, India, Romania , Albania and Africa.
We are GMF's initiative in Africa, and have strategic partnerships, ministering in South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, DRCongo, Zambia, Zimbabwe,Malawi, Sudan and Angola.
It is encouraging to see how God is raising many young leaders up for service. Our task is to support, facilitate and empower these leaders in Africa. Their dedication and commitment to the task, in spite of difficult situations are an encouragement for us.

Rina is full time administrator of GMF world mission, Africa. In February 2007, Hennie & Rina has become members of the Ngwenani Baptist Church in Venda, South Africa, and being sent from this church as their missionaries.
Since February 2008 we have also joined a local Afrikaans cell group of Pastor Gielie Joubert, of Houtkruis Gemeenskaps Kerk ( Wooden Cross Community Church ) in Pietersburg. It is a blessing to fellowship with them when we are at home.

Our commitment is obedience to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to God’s infallible Word. We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for salvation and that all people without personal faith in Him are lost and will spend eternity in hell.
Our basic means of understanding and fulfilling God’s mission is through prayer, giving, sending and going.
Our purpose is to provide all people an opportunity to hear, understand and respond to the gospel in their own cultural context.
Our basic task is evangelism through proclamation, disciplining, equipping and ministry that results in indigenous churches.
We acknowledge the value of the local church as the vehicle for ministry. Our vision is to see the world saved. God has given us the privilege of being in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, in the midst of Afrikaans, English,Shangaan, Pedi and Venda speaking people groups.
Pietersburg (Polokwane) is called the hub in the North of South Africa to the borders crossing over to other countries of Southern Africa.
VISION
The philosophy accepted since the early days of Hennie and Rina's ministry is to be faithful to the command of Christ and be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth. More specifically there is a desire to plant over 200 churches, through the efforts of evangelism, discipleship and development of strong local churches who in turn can reproduce and do missions.
